City to Add 201 TPE Machines

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to add 201 Electronic Parking Terminal (TPE)s. As the first step, 41 TPEs will be installed at four roads.

It will be installed at Jalan Juanda Raya, Jalan Pecenongan, Jalan Pinangsia Raya, and Jalan Pinangsia I, II, III

Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Andri Yansyah, admitted that the purchasing of 201 TPEs will be done in two stages. First stage is 41 TPEs and second stage is 160 TPEs.

“It will be installed at Jalan Juanda Raya, Jalan Pecenongan, Jalan Pinangsia Raya, and Jalan Pinangsia I, II, III,” he said, Monday (10/3).

As for the second stages, he added, his side has bought 160 TPEs from Electronic Catalog (e-catalog). The purchasing has enter the finishing stage.

Meanwhile, vice of agency, Sigit Wijatmoko, stated 41 TPEs to be spread at four roads are already arrived in Jakarta. The integrator auction is being run. It is predicted that TPEs will be installed by the end of this month.

“The important part of the machine is the integrator,” he stated.

The other 160 TPEs will be installed by the end of this year.
